Creamy & Spicy Harissa Penne


  • Penne pasta
  • 1 banana shallots
  • 2 tbsp harissa paste
  • 1 tbsp tomato puree
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 180ml soy cream
  • 1 medium lemon, juiced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp chipotle flakes
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 cup cilantro


  1. Saute your shallots & mince garlic into a pan with sesame oil on medium heat
  2. Add your smoked paprika, chipotle flakes, oregano, harissa paste and tomato puree. Let this mix thoroughly for 1-2 minutes
  3. Add your lemon and soy cream, add your cooked penne pasta to the pan. Now add your coriander and let this fully combine
  4. Serve your pasta and garnish with cilantro
